Mahmoud Ghasemi was a 42-year-old ship captain from Bandar-e Boal Kheyr in Bushehr province. A respected figure within the local maritime community, he was a devoted father to two daughters. Known by the title "Lion of Tangsir," Ghasemi was a prominent member of his community who sought to leave a legacy of courage. ناخدا محمود قاسمی، ۴۲ ساله و اهل بندر بوالخیر در استان بوشهر، از ناخدایان سرشناس لنج و پدر دو دختر خردسال بود. او که در میان مردم منطقه به «شیر تنگسیر» شهرت داشت، انسانی فداکار برای خانواده و جامعهاش شناخته میشد. این ناخدای بوشهری در ۱۸ دیماه ۱۴۰۴، در جریان سرکوب اعتراضات جنبش «زن، زندگی، آزادی» جان خود را از دست داد. پس از کشته شدن، پیکر او به مدت چهار روز در بیمارستان قائم سپاه پاسداران نگهداری شد و تنها پس از ارعاب و تهدید خانواده توسط نهادهای امنیتی، برای خاکسپاری تحویل داده شد. پیکر محمود قاسمی سرانجام در زادگاهش، بندر بوالخیر، به خاک سپرده شد.
